Health Ministry: To start the distribution of respiratory and oxygenating devices, to transfer field hospital from Tyre to Beirut

The media office of the Minister of Health confirmed in a statement issued on Sunday that "the ministry is continuing its efforts to deal with the epidemic despite all the economic, financial and social circumstances."

The statement pointed out that the ministry received 18 respirators for the intensive care unit at dawn on Sunday for use in hospitals for critically ill patients.

It added that these devices include oxygen devices that will be provided to government and private hospitals that suffer from great pressure in the number of patients in all Lebanese regions.

Regarding the field hospital provided by the State of Qatar, the statement referred to the initiative of Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri to transfer it to Beirut, to Rafic Hariri Hospital, or to Sports City Stadium.

Regarding vaccines, the statement stressed that contacts are underway at all levels to import vaccines from various public and private sources.
