Health Ministry suspends walk-in vaccination for a short period

The Ministry of Health announced on Thursday that it suspended the walk-in vaccination for a short period of time in order to accommodate the huge numbers of those who want to get vaccinated.

“Due to the high numbers of people rushing to receive the vaccine and the large number of advance appointments in all vaccination centers, the walk-in feature was temporarily suspended for a very short period in order to accommodate the huge numbers,” a statement issued by the ministry said.

It also noted that “the procedure is temporary for logistical reasons,” adding that it will inform the citizens within a short period about the return to work with this procedure.
