The head of Minister Gebran Bassil’s office for the affairs of the Free Patriotic Movement Mansour Fadel stressed Friday that the position of the FPM announced Thursday was clear, adding that the party’s decision to remain out of the executive authority aims at protecting the era.
In a statement to LBCI’s Nharkom Said, Fadel said that this is the first time that Lebanon faces such a tough economic and political crisis, noting that due to the exceptional conditions, exceptional stances must be taken.
“We are being accused of obstruction, this is why we prefer to stay in a place that facilitates productivity,” he added.
