A large number of citizens, mainly residents of Akkar towns, gathered outside Kleiat airport, within the framework of the protest movements that have been taking place across Lebanon for 25 days and ongoing.
The protesters called for reopening the airport, deeming it a vital facility for the region.
They raised the Lebanese flags and flew kites in the air.
