Lebanese Association for Democratic Elections (LADE) appealed on Sunday to the Ministry of Interior and Municipalities to issue an immediate circular to the polling stations, requiring the signature of the head of the polling station and the clerk on the back side of the official ballot paper, and the signature of the head of the polling station on the official sealed envelope.
LADE received information about ballot papers being handed in without being signed or signed from the front, which could be considered an additional sign on the ballot paper that may expose it to invalidation.
