Bassil: FPM battle is in a battle against US, Israel and their allies
Free Patriotic Movement head MP Gebran Bassil said on Sunday that the movement was not in a battle against the Lebanese Forces, the Progressive Socialist Party, the Kataeb, the Amal movement and others, “but rather in a battle that began on October 17 with the US, Israel and their allies."

In a speech, he stressed that "the funding of elections comes from a well-known regional source, and there have been ambassadors' tours.”
“The LF is the party number one in buying votes and let it be proud of that,” Bassil assed.

"It is clear that we must wait for numbers and results before making statements, but it is certain also that the FPM emerged victorious from the battle, as it will gain representatives throughout Lebanon,” Bassil added.
