VIDEO depicting attack against civil society activists in al-Nejmeh Square

LBCI received on Friday a video depicting the attack carried out by internal Security Forces' members against civil society activists who staged a demonstration at Riad al-Solh Square to protest the extension of the parliament's mandate.

On the 20th of June, civil society activists decided to go on with their movement to protest the extension of the Parliament's mandate. The protesters set up tents in Riad al-Solh Square, while the security forces stressed that they will not allow any roads to be cut off to and from the square.
