Minister Diab calls on students to proceed with their exams, to hold conference at 3 pm

Caretaker Education Minister Hassan Diab assured on Monday that scheduled official exams will be held in all Lebanese regions except in regions where tension is prevailing, adding that exams in these regions will be scheduled for another date.

Diab mentioned that students who were forcibly absent will submit their exams on other dates, to be set by the Ministry of Education.

Earlier, Minister Diab along with the General Director of the Ministry of Education Fady Yarak checked on the examination procedures in various Lebanese regions and called on students in “calm regions” to proceed with their exams as per the scheduled program.

It is worth noting that Minister Diab will hold a press conference today (Monday) at 3 pm at his office to discuss the examination progress and means of holding the exams in tense Lebanese regions.
