Khoury: Hezbollah’s authority has become equivalent to that of the Lebanese state

Former Minister Ghattas Khoury said on Sunday that the legislative authority may not take the role of the executive power since Lebanon abides by the system that separates between powers.

Khoury told LBCI during Nharkom Said that the authority of Hezbollah has become equivalent to that of the Lebanese state and mentioned that “no one is against the presence of arms to face the Israeli enemy and defend Lebanon, but everyone is against arms which are being used for internal and regional purposes that threaten the Lebanese state.”
