Jumblatt: Silence of International Community is Increasing Crimes in Syria

Head of the Progressive Socialist Party MP Walid Jumblatt expressed on Tuesday his concern over the silence of the International Community regarding the Syrian crisis, pointing out that this silence is leading towards a rise in crimes against humanity.

Jumblatt told the Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Anbaa that the Syrian regime is transforming the majority into a minority by means of killing and displacement, adding that it is destroying real estate records in Homs which constitute a historical reference to the owners of the land.

In this regard, Jumblatt mentioned that these real estate records will give proprietors of other religions the chance of owning these estates.
