Air Navigation services employees stage sit-in at Beirut International Airport
        
The state-run National News Agency reported on Thursday that the Air Navigation services employees held a two-hour protest at the Beirut International Airport, calling on the concerned authorities to include the financial grid within the series of ranks and salaries which was recently referred to Parliament.         

Cabinet referred the wage scale to Parliament following weeks of nationwide protests on Thursday [March 21st].         

The Union Coordinating Committee had launched its open ended strike on February 19th 2013 after making repeated called on then Prime Minister Najib Mikati to validate the new salary scale and consequently refer it to Parliament for ratification.
