ISF urges people not to use fireworks

The Internal Security Forces urged on Saturday Lebanese citizens not to use fireworks during various celebrations.

The ISF issued a statement in which it said that the use of fireworks for national, religious, and social occasions raises fear among the people, "causing harm, including permanent disabilities."

The statement added that fireworks could damage public property and even cause disputes among Lebanese people.

The ISF urged citizens to abstain from using fireworks "for their safety and that of the public."
