UN report: At least 13,000 Syrian refugees registered in Lebanon in one week

A weekly report issued by the United Nations Higher Commissioner for Refugees showed that at least 13 thousand Syrian refugees were registered in Lebanon during the past week, bringing the total number of Syrians in Lebanon who receive aid from the UNHCR to 625 thousand refugees.

The refugees are currently distributed as follows: 35% or 185018 refugees in North Lebanon, 34% or 179575 in Bekaa, 18% or 98502 in Beirut and Mount Lebanon and 13% or 67324 in South Lebanon.
