REPORT: Sehnaoui says high speed internet to cover Lebanon soon

Caretaker Telecommunications Minister Nicolas Sehnaoui declared on Thursday that the fiber-optic network has been upgraded, noting that he sent a letter to “Ogero” requesting it to inform the ministry of its financial and technical requirements to upgrade the rest of the telephone ‘centrals’ in the regions that have not yet received the upgrade package.

This as he stressed that, within a period of six months, around 500 thousand citizens will be able to use high speed internet.
