Eichhorst to LBCI: Dialogue will remain open with all Lebanese parties

EU Ambassador to Lebanon Angelina Eichhorst said Friday that "the European Union's decision to blacklist Hezbollah's military wing does not target anyone," stressing that dialogue will remain open with all the Lebanese political parties.

In a phone call with LBCI Nharkom Said TV Show, Eichhorst said the EU condemns any acts of terrorism targeting its territories, hoping that the EU's decision will not affect the mission of PM-Designate Tammam Salam in the context of the cabinet's formation.

Eichhorst also stressed that greater support could be provided to Lebanon, mainly in light of the country's growing demands, pointing out that Hezbollah did not send out a warning to the EU, she said in reference to her meetings with the group's officials.
