Jumblatt calls on Hezbollah to cooperate in STL funding issue

National Struggle Front leader MP Walid Jumblatt confirmed on Monday that the issue of the STL funding brings into play a national interest that would not be achieved if the funding is not approved.

Jumblatt said, during his weekly statement to Al-Anbaa daily, that Hezbollah, “taking into account its reservations”, better cooperate in this issue to mitigate tensions.

Jumblatt said that the key to a solution in Syria is the literal implementation of the Arab initiative’s items, and the acceptance of observers.
