President Sleiman calls for a new government that includes all Lebanese parties

      
President Michel Sleiman held several meetings on Saturday at the Baabda Presidential Palace whereby he stressed the need to abide by the Baabda Declaration and to exert tireless efforts in order to form a new government that shall include all the Lebanese political parties.        
In this regard, Sleiman held a meeting with former Interior Minister Ziad Baroud with talks featuring high on the latest developments as well as the administrative decentralization draft law to be submitted to the cabinet.            

President Sleiman also met with a delegation from the Administrative Committee of the Forum of Lebanese Ambassadors under the chairmanship of Ambassador Khalil Makawi who praised Sleiman's stances and denounced the rocket attacks that targeted the region of Yarze on the 68th anniversary of the Army Day.      

Two rockets slammed on Thursday night (1st of August) into the region of Yarze, the first hitting the al-Frayha building near the Presidential Palace and the second landing near the Khashiqji building, military sources told LBCI on Friday.             

Well-informed sources also told LBCI that the perpetrators probably used a mobile launch pad and then escaped the area.                

The blasts were the latest in a series of rocket attacks that have targeted areas just south of the capital in the past two months; a direct fallout from the civil war in neighboring Syria.
