Al-Moqdad clan gives kidnappers of Youssef al-Moqdad few hours to release him

Al-Moqdad clan and the residents of the town of Maqneh gave the kidnappers of Youssef al-Moqdad few hours to release him; otherwise “the road connecting Baalbeck to Maqneh and Arsal will no longer be safe.”

Following negotiations that lasted several hours on Friday night between al-Moqdad clan and the kidnappers, no progress was reached after contact between both sides was lost.

Sources from al-Moqdad clan explained that the kidnappers claimed to be affiliated with al-Nusra Front, pointing out that the place of the abductee has not yet been determined.
