Mansour briefs President Sleiman on results of complaints raised against Israeli violations

Lebanese President Michel Sleiman met on Tuesday at the presidential summer residence in Beit Eddine caretaker Foreign Affairs Minister Adnan Mansour.
       
During the meeting, Minister Mansour briefed the president on the results of the complaints raised before the United Nations regarding the Israeli violations of Lebanon's airspace.                
In turn President Sleiman tasked Minister Mansour to follow up on this file with the United Nations’ Security Council.                        

On Sunday the 2nd of June 2013, President Sleiman tasked caretaker Foreign Affairs Minister Adnan Mansour with filing an urgent complaint before the United Nations regarding Israeli violations to the country's airspace.           

Israeli warplanes have been conducting low and medium altitude flights over the Bekaa Valley and various other Lebanese regions including the towns of Nabatieh, Iqlim Tuffah, Marjeyoun, Khyam and al-Arqoub.
