Robberies on the rise… latest victims Jal el-Dib and Zalka

Investigations in Mar Takla Center, Jal el-Dib, are ongoing after the offices of the Rachid Karam Company for architectural consultancy were robbed on Thursday night.

Employees stated that robbers managed to break down the doors, breaking into the offices where they stole $3,000 , the only amount that was available in the accounting department.

According to sources, the robbers left behind other assets in the offices, such as computers and other equipment.

The company’s lawyer Sleiman Khoury explained that three floors of the center were robbed which are floor 3, 7 and 8.

A similar incident occurred in an industry of leather and fabrics in Zalka, Amaret Chalhoub. However, no one confirmed any link between both robberies though in both cases the robbers left behind all assets that cannot be cashed easily.
