Zahle MPs call for formation of national salvation government

Zahle MPs reiterated on Sunday their support to the formation of a national salvation government in response to the deadly blast that took place in the Roueis region on Thursday.

Zahle MPs' stances came following a meeting in MP Tony Abou Khater's residence in Zahle where they condemned Thursday's bombing that "targeted all Lebanese people without exceptions."

MPs also condemned Hezbollah's involvement in the fighting against the Syrian people, calling on Hezbollah's chief Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah to withdraw the group's fighters from Syria.

The concluded by urging the Lebanese Armed Forces to launch investigations into the killing of the Lebanese people across Lebanon.
