MP Jumblatt says national dialogue vital for reconsidering dissociation policy

National Struggle Front Leader MP Walid Jublatt said Monday that holding national dialogue sessions would provide a means to reconsider the dissociation policy.

During his weekly stance to the party's newspaper al-Anbaa, MP Jumblatt said it is important to ensure an appropriate atmosphere in order to resume dialogue, stressing that it is also essential to respect constitutional institutions and the role of the cabinet in maintaining the country’s stability.

MP Jumblatt expressed his support to Speaker Nabih Berri’s appeal in which he called for enrolling 5 thousand soldiers at the military institution in light of the exceptional challenges that Lebanon and the region are facing.
