Caretaker Minister of Economy Nahhas calls on bookshop owners to abide by prices set by the Ministry

Caretaker Ministry of Economy Nicolas Nahhas issued on Thursday a notice under the academic law No. 2|1|A.T related school book prices.

The caretaker Minister urged bookshop owners in all Lebanese regions to abide by the prices set by Lebanon's Educational Center for Research and Development and school publishers.

He also noted that any violators of the present notice will be sanctioned.

This comes as may Lebanese citizens filed complaints to the Ministry saying that some bookshops were selling books at a higher cost.
