Patriarch Sako of the Chaldean Catholic church wraps visit to Lebanon, heads to Rome

Patriarch Louis Sako of the Chaldean Catholic Church wrapped up on Monday his visit to Lebanon where he held talks with Lebanese President Michel Sleiman, House Speaker Nabih Berri, and a number of political and religious figures.

Before leaving for Rome, Patriarch Sako called on the Lebanese citizens to unite their efforts and put their disputes aside in order to build a better future for Lebanon.

"The destiny of the region is linked to the fate of Lebanon," Patriarch Sako said from Beirut International Airport prior to his departure.
