Sheikh Qabalan urges Lebanese authorities to disarm all factions

Deputy Head of the Higher Islamic Shiite Council Sheikh Abdul Amir Qabalan urged on Wednesday the Lebanese authorities to disarm all Lebanese factions and annul all weapon licenses, adding that “good deeds protect the Lebanese state and the citizens.”

In his Eid al-Adha sermon, Sheikh Qabalan noted that people should realize the rights of others and act in a responsible manner, stressing that all citizens should have patience in light of the country's critical situation.

Sheikh Qabalan added that “all those supporting terrorism will be held accountable by God.”
