Wahhab expresses gratitude to ISIL and Maj. Gen. Ibrahim

The head of the “Arab Tawhid Party” Wiam Wahhab congratulated Sunday the freed Lebanese hostages and their families, expressing gratitude to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), “which destroyed Liwaa Asifat al-Shamal and exerted pressure on the Turkish authorities overseeing the detention of the Lebanese pilgrims leading them to release the hostages.”

In a statement he issued, Wahhab said that he will not be thankful neither to Qatar nor to Turkey, “since these two countries were responsible from the beginning for the kidnapping of the Lebanese nationals.”

“Qatar and Turkey could have helped in releasing the hostages from the first day and prevent all the repercussions,” he added.

In this context, Wahhab praised the efforts deployed by the General Director of General Security Maj. Gen. Abbas Ibrahim, "who worked hard in order to release the hostages and put an end to their tragedy."
