Berri says boycott policy affects Lebanese people’s interests

Speaker Nabih Berri met with deputies during Wednesday’s MPs gathering where they discussed the general situation in the country and the efforts deployed by Berri in order to end the boycott practiced by some parties leading to the postponement of the legislative sessions.

In this context, the MPs quoted the speaker as saying that “the boycott policy does not only affect the Parliament, but it also harms the country and the interests of the Lebanese people,” calling on all the parties to end their boycott campaign and to positively deal with this critical situation.

Among the MPs who attended the gathering Mohammad Raad, Ali Bazzi, Ali Khreiss, al-Walid Sukkariah, Ghazi Zayter, Ayoub Hmeid, Nawaf al-Moussawi, Ali Ammar, Qassem Hashem, Abdelmajid Saleh, Nawar al-Sahili, Yassin Jaber, Michel Moussa, Ali al-Moqdad, Ali Fayyad and Hassan Fadlallah.
