US Ambassador to Lebanon grants a Cessna aircraft to LAF

US Ambassador to Lebanon, David Hale along with a delegation of officers of the Embassy granted the Lebanese Armed Forces an American Cessna aircraft in line with the security cooperation between the two countries.

"The aim is to help the Lebanese army protect the security of its borders and we believe that it's the only legitimate force that should defend Lebanon. Lebanese state institution are accountable before the Lebanese people not before foreign powers," said Hale.

The handover took place in a ceremony held at the Beirut International airport on Wednesday in the presence of a representative of Army Chief General Jean Kahwaji and other dignitaries.
