Hezbollah's Nasrallah: Saudi Arabia prevents the formation of new government

Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah made on Wednesday a rare public appearance from the Sayyed Al-Shouhadaa Mosque complex, in South Beirut's Roueis region.       

In his speech, Nasrallah said that Israel is "pleased" with the latest developments in the Arab and Islamic world, adding that it is pushing towards this situation.

He also noted that Israel has become an ally for some Arab countries, voicing his regrets that some Arab states are supporting Israel in its "fatal" decisions.

Sayyed Nasrallah stressed that the Jewish state is pushing towards a new war in the region, adding that Israel has used all its influence for a military attack against Syria but has failed.

On the case of the Israeli spying posts along the border, Hezbollah chief noted that the Israeli espionage file is a national file that concerns all the Lebanese people, adding that the Resistance is ready to help in this file and to provide the Lebanese state with "significant assistance."

He said that US Secretary of State Kerry's speech on the Resistance "makes no difference", adding that "no one can eliminate the Resistance and the Resistance does not want to eliminate anyone."

On the formation of the new government, he highlighted that Saudi Arabia has decided to prevent the formation of a new cabinet or to form a government that excludes Hezbollah.

"To those who are awaiting the opposition's victory in Syria to form a cabinet in Lebanon, we tell them no victory will take place," Nasrallah said.

On Iran's nuclear file, Nasrallah said that if a deal was brokered between Iran and the West over Iran's nuclear program, Hezbollah will be 'the most powerful on many levels."

On the occasion of Ashura, Sayyed Nasrallah said that no explosion, bloodshed, or booby-trapped cars will prevent the Shiites from taking part in the procession of Ashura.

Hezbollah's Nasrallah is also expected to deliver another speech on Thursday, for the occasion of Ashura; the tenth day of Muharram in the Islamic calendar.
