Syrian exodus from Qalamoun to Lebanon’s Arsal continues

Hundreds of Syrian families continue their exodus to Lebanon, coming from the region of Qalamoun, in northern Damascus, where military operations have escalated, local official in the Bekaa told Agence France Presse on Saturday.

The member of Arsal’s municipal council Ahmad al-Houjairi said that nearly one thousand families have entered the northeastern town of Arsal since Friday, noting that the town’s officials have been helping the refugees in settling and providing them with their basic needs.
