Mufti Qabbani contacts Sleiman, Berri to discuss Iranian Embassy attack

The Mufti of the Republic Sheikh Mohammad Rashid Qabbani expressed Wednesday concern regarding the latest security developments threatening the country’s stability, mainly referring to the latest attack that targeted the Iranian Embassy in the region of Jnah.

In a phone call conversation, the Mufti called on President Michel Sleiman to deploy strong efforts in order to prevent the country and the Lebanese people from being dragged into the region’s devastating wars.

Sheikh Qabbani also contacted Speaker Nabih Berri and tackled the same issue.
