Caretaker Min. Bassil calls for investigation over water blackmail

After LBCI showed a report on a person who blackmails Lebanese citizens by preventing them from access to water unless they pay him a certain amount of money, the media office of caretaker Energy Minister Gebran Bassil said the latter asked the judiciary and Water Authority of Beirut and Mount Lebanon to launch an investigation and to take the necessary measures.

In this regard, a committee was established and results of investigations will be revealed next week.
