Caretaker Minister Charbel to LBCI: Interior Ministry has fulfilled its duties

Caretaker Interior Minister Marwan Charbel said on Thursday that the security forces are not tasked with opening drainage canals, noting that it is unacceptable to blame them.

"The security forces worked yesterday night until 3am in order to rescue citizens stranded in the tunnel on the airport road," he noted.

In a phone call with LBCI's Nharkom Said TV Show, Charbel said the Interior Ministry has fulfilled its duties and will continue to do so, calling on all Lebanese Ministries to follow suit.
