President Sleiman meets Ambassador Zaspykin, tackles preparations for Geneva 2 conference

President Michel Sleiman held a meeting on Friday at the Baabda Palace with Russian Ambassador to Lebanon Alexander Zaspykin whereby they tackled bilateral relations, the regional situation and preparations for the Geneva 2 conference.

Talks also featured high on actions being undertaken to revive the outcome of the International Support Group for Lebanon that convened on the 25th of September in New York.

This as, President Sleiman met with the Lebanese-Syrian Higher Council chief Nasri Khoury and discussed the council's work, the Syrian situation and preparations for the Geneva 2 conference to be held on January 22.
