Mufti Qabbani says Lebanon is witnessing critical situation, calls for avoiding provocative rhetoric

The Mufti of the Republic Sheikh Mohammad Rashid Qabbani said that Lebanon is witnessing a very critical situation, calling for caution and awareness regarding any “irresponsible action that might widen the gap between the Lebanese and create sectarian strife.”

In letter addressed to the Lebanese people on the occasion of the Prophet’s Birthday, Qabbani noted that the Lebanese’s unity is an essential matter that allows them to determine their own destiny, stressing the need to avoid provocative rhetoric.
