Israeli army says drone launched by Hezbollah intercepted, calls it ceasefire violation

The Israeli army said a drone launched by Hezbollah was intercepted after being directed toward its forces operating south of the forward defense line in South Lebanon.

According to the Israeli military spokesperson Ella Waweya, the drone was shot down by the Israeli Air Force before crossing into Israel, and no air raid sirens were activated in line with existing procedures.

The army described the incident as a "blatant violation" of the ceasefire agreement.

It added that Israeli forces will continue operations in areas under their control to "remove threats" and ensure the security of Israeli citizens and troops.
