Caretaker Minister Charbel: Lebanon will receive new equipments to detect explosives

Caretaker Minister of Interior Marwan Charbel said on Monday that the process of new cabinet's formation is on the "right track", adding that the new government will see the light based on the "goodwill of the rival Lebanese leaders."

He also stressed the necessity of forming a government that deals with the Lebanese people's daily issues, mainly on the security and economic levels.

Charbel slammed all media reports stating that he will serve as a minister in the upcoming cabinet, adding that such issue is in the hands of President Michel Sleiman and Prime Minister-Designate Tammam Salam.

On another note, caretaker Minister Charbel said that a number of booby trapped cars were detected, adding that Lebanon will receive in the upcoming weeks new equipments to detect explosives.
