PM-Designate Salam meets with French ambassador Paoli

Prime Minister-Designate Tammam Salam met on Tuesday the French Ambassador to Lebanon Patrice Paoli, and discussed with him the latest developments.

Paoli reiterated France's support to the Lebanese institutions, President Michel Sleiman and the Lebanese Armed Forces.

He also wished Salam success in the formation of the government, "which Lebanon urgently needs."

Paoli added that France backs all efforts to find a formula for the Lebanese government.

On another note, Salam received the Ambassador of the European Union Angelina Eichhorst, and discussed with her various topics and recent developments in Lebanon and the region.
