Salam calls on political leaders to make concessions to save the project of the State
Prime Minister Tammam Salam stressed the need to create positive atmosphere in order to resume national dialogue to resolve all pending issues under the auspices of President Michel Sleiman.

Following the announcement of the new cabinet, he called on all political leaders to come together and make concessions in order to save the project of the State, urging them to support the Lebanese Armed Forces and all security apparatuses.

Salam added that the new cabinet is capable of holding the presidential elections on time and pass a new electoral law, stressing that its goal is to impose national security and to fight against all forms of terrorism.

In this context, he noted the cabinet was formed with Arab and International support, pointing out that the first cabinet session will be held at the beginning of next week.
