Al-Nusra Front in Lebanon accuses Shiite members of LAF of Fighting in Syria

Al-Nusra Front in Lebanon said on Sunday via its twitter account that the Lebanese army “has become a pawn in the hands of the Shiite project” in Lebanon.

It also accused Shiite members of the Lebanese army of taking part in the fighting in Syria.

The front also accused the army of "never daring to confront the Israeli or Syrian armies that occupied Lebanon."

“The Lebanese army only dared to oppress the Sunnis under the excuse that it is the guarantee of the Lebanese people,” it added.

Al-Nusra Front in Lebanon has claimed responsibility for bombings that have targeted Hezbollah strongholds in the Bekaa region of Hermel.

It has also claimed responsibility for rocket attacks launched against those areas in Lebanon.

Hezbollah has been taking part in the fighting alongside the Syrian regime forces against a rebel uprising seeking to topple President Bachar al-Assad.
