Israeli army raises state of alert along border with Lebanon

Israel stepped up security measures on Wednesday morning along its border with Lebanon and the Golan Heights, the state-run National News Agency reported.

Israeli armored personnel carriers deployed in the occupied Shebaa Farms and the Golan Heights, the agency said.

This comes as Israeli drones hovered over several towns in southern Lebanon, reaching Mount Hermon (Jabal al-Sheikh).
