Draft law concerning Civil Defense volunteers listed on Wednesday's general authority session

House Speaker Nabih Berri called on Monday for holding general authority sessions on Wednesday and Thursday in both the morning and afternoon to study and ratify draft laws listed on the session's agenda.

Among the draft laws is one that grants Civil Defense volunteers permanent employment at the governmental institution.

Since last week, Civil Defense volunteers have been cutting off various roads, calling on deputies to communicate with them and return the draft law concerning their issue to parliament for further deliberations.
