Four Syrian nationals indicted for belonging to ISIL

Military investigating Judge Fadi Sawan issued on Thursday a verdict accusing 4 Syrian nationals of belonging to the al-Qaeda-inspired Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), the state-run National News Agency reported.

The Syrians were also accused of plotting terrorist acts and car bomb attacks, manufacturing explosives and rockets, and possessing weapons and explosives in Lebanon's Bekaa.

Accordingly, Judge Sawan issued an arrest warrant against each of them and referred the case to the permanent military court.
