Alloush: Assad Shabiha opened fire on my house

MP Mustafa Alloush accused the Shabiha and agents of the Syrian regime in Lebanon of opening fire on his house in Tripoli on Saturday. Alloush reveled to Al Seyassah Al Kuwaiti daily that the identity of the aggressors is known, adding that they belong to a Syrian organization located in a building near his house.   

The daily quoted Alloush as saying that the bullets left by the offenders show that the gun used was a Kalashnikov. Alloush stressed that Lebanon has grown accustom to such actions orchestrated by “the Shabiha of Bashar Assad” over years and decades.

“The state of lawlessness and disorder in Tripoli and in other regions witnessing such events must stop”, Alloush said.

On a different note, Alloush highlighted that the visit paid by Syrian Ambassador to Lebanon Ali Abdul Karim Ali to the President Michel Sleiman aimed at explaining the Wadi Khaled incident that killed three Lebanese men.

“The visit is not enough since the attack was a blatant one targeting the residents of Wadi Khaled”, Alloush said, calling on officials to deal with it as such.
