FPM leader Aoun meets ABL head Bassil in Rabieh

Change and Reform bloc leader MP Michel Aoun welcomed on Thursday at his residence in Rabieh a delegation from the Association of Banks in Lebanon presided by Francois Bassil.

Following the meeting, Bassil said reform is paramount, hoping that the Joint Parliamentary Committee will reach appropriate solutions, not just imposing exceptional taxes on banks.

ABL head Bassil noted that the Association of Banks is concerned with having a good social and economic situation in Lebanon, and said: "we want the public sector employees to earn salaries that allow them to live in dignity."
