Change and Reform Bloc MP Dib to LBCI: We reject political vacuum

Change and Reform Bloc MP Hekmat Dib said he believes that quorum will not be reached in Wednesday's parliamentary session due to the failure to nominate a consensual candidate for the presidential elections.

"The Change and Reform bloc is keen on reaching an understanding with other parties over the upcoming phase," he said in an interview with LBCI's Nharkom Said TV Show on Monday.

Dib said his bloc wishes the Lebanese parties would agree on Change and Reform bloc leader MP Michel Aoun as the new president.

"MP Aoun is a candidate for the presidential elections, he is capable of forging alliances and restoring balance to the political power.

In this regard, Dib said all parties want a strong president, noting that his bloc rejects political vacuum by all means.
