Death penalty raised against 2 Lebanese detainees
Military Investigating Judge Fady Sawwan raised on Tuesday the death penalty charge against 2 Lebanese detainees, Qawsi Moussa and Hussein Berri, on charges of belonging to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).

The two were accused of performing acts of terrorism, kidnapping people and terrorizing them by force of arms, the possession of unlicensed military weapons and ammunition.

Judge Sawwan referred them to the permanent military court for trial.
