Hariri: Presence of weapons in Lebanon will be harmful

Former PM Saad Hariri told his followers on twitter that condemning the crimes committed in Syria is a must, stressing that Christians are an integral part of the Syrian revolution. “Those who think otherwise are wrong”, Hariri said, adding that the Syrian National Council represents the Syrian people.

Hariri stressed that he believes that the future will bring with it the truth, freedom and prosperity.

“The presence of weapons in the country will be harmful; weapons should only be in the capable hands of the state”, Hariri said.

Hariri described a follower’s suggestion to deliver a joint speech with the Head of the SNC as good. Hariri praised the role of Saudi Arabia that always stood by Lebanon at all stages.
