Lawsuit against TV host Tony Khalife may get him 2 years in jail
The General Prosecution of Mount Lebanon charged on Monday TV host Tony Khalife in accordance with articles 16, 20 and 21 of Lebanon’s Publications Law.

This comes after TV host Joe Maalouf filed a lawsuit against Khalife, through the attorney Ashraf al-Moussawi, over the accusations he launched in his TV show “Lel Nasher”, regarding the case of the strained yogurt products (Labneh).

Sources said that Khalife may be sentenced to up to two years of imprisonment, in addition to financial penalties.
