Egyptian national kidnapped in Baalbek

The state-run National News Agency reported on Saturday that unknown gunmen kidnapped at gunpoint an Egyptian national in the Baalbek town of Hawch-Bay.

The agency identified the Egyptian national as Mohammed Saeed Ibrahim Mahmoud, adding that his Saudi-Egyptian wife pressed charges against unknown assailants at Chemstar police station.

The news agency said that Mahmoud is the owner of several farms and a livestock dealer.

No further details were provided in this regard.
